2025 Awards Ceremonies

​The outstanding individual and team achievements of our students are recognised at our annual award ceremonies. In 2025, there have been some changes to this process. This information has been emailed to parents, caregivers and students. A summary of the key changes is below.

• Calculations for Academic Awards has moved to a Grade Point Average (GPA) calculation. Please refer to the 2025 Awards Handbook to read more about how this calculation is made and the reporting periods it is based on.
• Non school sports achievements at a state level or higher will be recognised through a self-nomination process. Please refer to page 17 of the 2025 Awards Handbook for how the student's highest achievement will be recognised, the criteria, deadline for submissions and the online link to submit details. Emails sent directly to the school cannot be accepted. 
  
• Students and parents will be provided with an opportunity to check achievements for Cultural, Service and Sports Awards. This information has been emailed on Monday 15 September to all students and parents, including those where our records show they are not eligible for an award. The email includes a link to an online form where questions and issues may be raised. This can only be done through the online form and must be received by 8.00am on Friday 19 September.
  
• The student name format for awards is based on the information provided in the State School Consent form. The deadline for updating this information was Friday 8 August. While State School Consent can be updated, the changes made now will not be reflected in the 2025 Awards Ceremonies.
