Last week information was emailed to parents and caregivers about the changes to MAP and Interschool sport for Block 3 and into 2025. A summary of this information can be viewed on this website on the Extra-curricular page.
- Students in Year 7-9 will participate in MAP Block 3 commencing Tuesday 20 August and can select from a range of offsite/onsite Junior MAP activities.
- Students in Year 10 are being offered study leave instead of participating in Senior MAP Block 3. Students with parent permission will be able to leave school at 1.00pm on Wednesday commencing from Wednesday 21 August 2024.
- Students in Year 11-12 will continue to access study leave as their current arrangements.
In 2025, students in Year 7-9 will participate in a program of well being, physical and study activities which will be held onsite at school during Period 4 on Wednesday afternoons. Students in Year 10-12 will be offered study leave during this time.
Interschool sport will not continue in the current format, and will be replaced by a program of gala days and other competitions to offer more students the opportunity to participate. Further information on this change will be communicated at a later date. There is no further interschool sport for 2024.
