Mansfield activities program (MAP) is offered to all students in years 7 to 10. An extensive range of sports and non-sporting activities are offered to junior students on Tuesday afternoons and seniors on Wednesdays.
Each MAP block usually runs for 10 weeks and activities are selected through an online link which is emailed to parents. The online selection requires the parent to give consent for their student to participate and for the parent to approve the costs the activity will incur.
To ensure fairness, activity selection opens on a nominated date at a set time. There is limited availability in some activities and students may miss out on their first preference due to demand. Activities vary in cost depending on the activity selected and the transport required. There are many low cost or free activities offered. Some activity may have minimum numbers to proceed. These will be cancelled if insufficient students select this option.
