What is Campion MyConnect2
MyConnect2 is an online platform that enables students to access all digital texts purchased through Campion Education, regardless of publisher, to be accessed with one login. Students can access on their school laptop or from a personal device from home.
Parents are required to provide consent for the school to upload their student's details into the platform. If a parent doesn't give consent, the student details are not provided and they will not have access to the platform, but can instead individually purchase and install digital texts on their laptop.
A risk assessment for the software has been conducted by the Department of Education prior to its use and the key details are:

Do I have to give permission for MyConnect2
We are required to ask for parent consent to share student details with Campion Education. If you complete the consent form and answer no - your details will not be shared.
This will mean that your child will not have access to the MyConnect2 platform and you will need to organise to purchase any digital texts required and load these onto the laptop yourself. Do not order digital texts through Campion Education unless they are part of a bundle with the hard copy. Bundles can be installed by using the activation code in the hard copy text book. Digital only texts are activated through the platform, and with no access to MyConnect2, your child will not have access to the digital text you have purchased. Instead you may order digital only copies direct from the publisher and install these at home.
If you are intending to give permission but just haven't done it yet, please complete the online form asap. At the start of the 2023 school year, students who were late to get permission will be added to the system and will gain access to the platform. This process will automatically then match them to any order you placed with Campion Education.
Will digital texts ordered elsewhere work on MyConnect2?
No - the platform is owned by Campion Education and is provided to Mansfield State High School families free of charge. Resources purchased elsewhere will not be accessible.
Can I use a personal email address for MyConnect2?
No - only the child's @eq.edu.au email address can be used. Current students all have an allocated email address including those future students who are currently enrolled in a Queensland state school. This information has been given to Campion Education if you gave consent for us to do so.
Students who do not currently have an @eq.edu.au email address (new students, not currently attending a Queensland state school) will be added to the system once their email address is allocated upon commencement of their enrolment. In the meantime, you can order their resources, and the school will match any digital texts to the platform when the email address is known.
I gave permission, but my child's details do not come up online when placing an order.
This may be because you gave permission after the deadline. Permission is still accepted and will be added to the platform in 2023. In the meantime, please order the resources. Stationery items and hard copy books will be delivered directly from Campion Education and the school will match digital texts when the permission is added in 2023.
