Mansfield State High School offers a wide range of subjects to cater for students' learning needs and interests. Students are encouraged to select subjects that they enjoy and are good at, while also considering any prerequisites that may be needed, the difficulty of the subject and their own ability.
Students study a range of core and elective subjects in Years 7, 8 and 9. Year 10 subjects are preparatory, focussed on building the foundation needed to select a senior study pathway for Year 11 and 12 when students complete a two-year program to gain their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).
