Mansfield State High School welcomes new students and their families to our school community.
Students with a confirmed enrolment will need to organise resources and uniforms ready for their first day at school. Information on requirements is provided during the enrolment process, but are listed below to help parents with their planning. Additional information is also available in our
parent resources section of this website.
Absences
If you know in advance that your student will be away on their first day of commencing school at Mansfield State High School, please email our Attendance Officer in advance. In this email include the student's name, their Year level/class if known and the reason they will not be attending on their first day.
Once they have commence school, all absences and early departures or late arrivals should be reported following our
absence procedures.
Laptops
All students at Mansfield State High School use laptops to personalise and enrich their learning experience. There are two choices for providing a device: a School Managed Laptop or Bring Your Own Device Program (BYOD).
Uniforms
The Mansfield High School P&C Association has decided on the policy of wearing the complete school uniform every day. The wearing of the uniform is an important part of the development of a healthy school tone and all students are encouraged to wear the uniform with pride.
The
Uniforms@Mansfield guide includes information on what uniform items are required and how they are worn.
For reasons of uniformity, all items with the exception of shoes need to be purchased from our school’s Uniform Shop. Price lists, online ordering and Uniform Shop opening hours can be accessed from
Mansfield State High School online uniform shop.
Booklists
All digital resources, new textbooks and stationery may be ordered online from our preferred book pack supplier, Campion Education. All students have their own laptops and are required to use digital versions of the textbooks while at school. View year level lists and ordering instructions on our
booklist page.
My Student Account
Canteen purchases at Mansfield State High School are cashless. Purchases are made using My Student Account (MSA) or EFTPOS. MSA is the preferred method of payment as it has no minimum spend limit, no purchase fees and the account can be set up and managed by the parent. Funds can be added online from home or loaded to the card before school using cash or EFTPOS. Learn more about MSA, our canteen services and purchasing on the
canteen webpage.
Please note: new students will need to wait until they are issued with a Student ID card and their account is active to use MSA. At the start of the year, this can take 5-6 weeks for photos to be taken and cards created. In the meantime, new students may use cash before school at the canteen to place an order.
