We have several key communication tools that are used to stay in touch with parents and to communicate important school information. Knowing what is happening at school helps you to engage with and support your child's education journey.
Emails are our primary method of communication. Emails can be sent from individual teachers, Deputy Principal's, Heads of Year and from the school generic email address firstname.lastname@example.org
Information sent by email can include outstanding absences, weekly parent news, online permission to attend excursions and extra-curricular activities, student reports, significant changes and updates to school life and updates from individual teachers.
Email addresses are collected on enrolment and stored securely in One School. If you change your email address, it is important that it is updated in our records to continue to receive information. Email addresses and other details can be updated using our Change of Details form.
From time to time, urgent or timely messages will be sent via text message. This may include a prompt to check for an important email. Text messages are sent to the mobile phone numbers provided on enrolment and stored in One School. Like email addresses, it is important that updates or changes to contact numbers are provided to the school. If you have not provided a mobile number or your number has changed, this can be updated using our Change of Details form.
The school newsletter is published three times each term. To receive a copy of the newsletter as an email link, you must subscribe with Schoolzine. Due to privacy regulations, it is not automatically sent to all parents. Please subscribe by completing your details in this online form.
Current and past editions of the newsletter can be viewed on the school website.
The official school Facebook page is a source of information for parents and carers. Please follow our Facebook page to stay in touch with school news.
This website is an important source of information. Information to assist parents can be found in our Parent Resources section. Please take the time to read through this and the other sections to stay in touch with what is happening at our school.
We recognise that school life can be busy and hope that this helps you to stay in touch and not miss important information.
