CANTEEN MANAGER

Mansfield State High School P&C Association is currently seeking an experienced Canteen Manager to work part time at their busy school canteen, paying above the award wage for the right candidate.
 
Reporting to the School’s P&C Executive, your role in this environment is to prepare a wide variety of fresh, nutritious snacks and meals while providing friendly service to the school community.
 
Key Criteria:
• Trade qualified chef or equivalent experience
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Previous managerial experience in a similar position within a cafeteria environment
• Strong working knowledge of WH&S
• A passion for great food and customer services
• Ability to communicate to various stakeholders
 
Mandatory Requirement:
• Currently hold or willing to obtain/pass a Police Check and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Own Transport
 
Roster: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 2:30pm (including pupil free days, but excluding school holidays)

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Mansfield State High School P&C Association is looking to hire a motivated, self‐directed individual to be our Operations Manager. Reporting to the School’s P&C Executive, your role in this environment is to assist in achieving the effective and efficient operation of the Association’s businesses. This position is permanent part time with flexible hours of 20-24 hours per school week (exc. public holidays)
 
This is a multi-faceted position with the ideal applicant requiring a broad range of skills, including, but not limited to, management, administration, IT and HR, more specifically, they will also need to be comfortable working in the Windows platform; have a strong understanding of POS systems; have a strong working knowledge of WH&S; the ability to work autonomously; will have excellent oral and written communication skills; will act with discretion and maintain confidentiality. This position will require someone who is professional, flexible, organised, and has an eye for detail.

We are an association made up of likeminded parents, school and community members, volunteering their time to provide essential services and support to the school and its community.
