Past leaders' spectacular achievements

Two past School Captains have once again shown that hard work has its rewards. Sam Cree (2013) and Corneels de Waard (2012) are both the recipients of University of Queensland Academic Scholarships. Sam, who will undertake a double degree in Arts and Science this year, has been awarded the UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship which is awarded to applicants who achieve at the very top of the OP1 band and is valued at $12,000 per year for up to 5 years. Corneels has been awarded a UQ Excellence Scholarship for OP1 applicants who have demonstrated outstanding academic, leadership and/or significant service achievements during Years 11 and 12. Valued at $6000 per year for up to 4 years, this scholarship will assist Corneels as he works towards a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
